Técnica Industrial, founded in 1952 and published by the Industrial Technical Foundation, defines itself as a quarterly technical publication in the field of industrial engineering. It publishes four issues per year (March, June, September and December) and has a digital version which can be found at The contents of the journal are structured around a core of technical articles related to engineering, industry and innovation, which are then complemented by news about science and technology and other content relating to the profession and other topics of human interest.


It is a journal covering engineering, industry and innovation, aiming to be a reflection and vehicle for promotion of the advances made in industrial engineering in Spain and Latin America, and, to that end, it seeks editorial excellence in both its print and digital versions. To guarantee the quality of the technical articles, publications are subject to a rigorous peer review system. The journal adheres to the guidelines and standards for scientific journals and publications of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (Fecyt) and the International Council of Scientific Unions (ICSU) in order to facilitate its incorporation into the indices and principal databases of the field and provide for the maximum dissemination and greatest scientific impact of the articles and their authors. Técnica Industrial will by preference consider for publication only the most innovative works related to industrial engineering.
